Eilean Donan Castle

A fortress in the Highland.

The Eilean Donan Castle, in the Highlands, was a defensive position against the Vkings raids, then the English assaults and finaly, the Sotts themselves. It’s told that a lord, Duncan McRae, was the only defensor of the fortress when it was assieged by a rival clan in 1539.
